Barack Obama has been my choice for President since January 2007; I was convinced of his abilities, his compassion, his desire to find workable solutions acceptable to those willing to work together and his intelligence.
But most of all, I grew convinced that he understood why he was the person who was being pushed forward by a mass movement he did not create. As he said at Invesco: "This was never about me. It was about you."
